We use Trello's Jira Power Up successfully.
We want an integration that goes the other way - that allows us to see information from the dependent Trello cards in a Jira Story. Basically to treat Trello cards as sub-tasks or something similar.
So far as I can tell, the Jira Power Up displays information from Jira in Trello, but not the other way around. Does that functionality exist in the power up, or is there a different power up that provides this? It seems like a logical feature set to provide.
Hi @Jim Reynolds ! Unito might be able to help here. They offer a Trello-Jira 2-way sync. The power up you're using means you need to manually create the Trello card and Jira issue, and then link them together. Unito would automatically sync the Jira issue to Trello, and vice-versa. For example, say you want a subset of Jira issues to sync to Trello - Unito will automatically create a synced card in Trello, and changes made to the Trello card will be reflected back in Jira. The same goes the other way when syncing Trello cards into Jira.
You are correct that nothing in out-of-the-box Jira Cloud supports showing the Trello cards. There appear to be several marketplace apps for purchase to do this: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?product=jira&query=trello
I have not tried any of these apps so I have no specific app suggestions for you.
Kind regards,
Bill
