Is it possible to integrate my company's Single Sign On (SSO) in Jira which is already being used by some of the applications.
We are using Jira 8.5.1 on Standalone server .
Thanks in Advance.
Hi @Mayur Jadhav / @Aditya_miniOrange ,
Thank you so much for your suggestions.
My bad that I missed to inform you that I am already aware of the available plugins to implement the SSO in Jira.
Actually I wanted to know that, is there is any other possible way to implement it without using the plugins.
Cant we apply the SSO directly on the available Jira software by making some changes.
Please let me know if I am missing anything .
Thanks & Regards,
Pankaj Mahajan

There are multiple SSO plugins available for Jira on the Atlassian Marketplace which allows you to enable SSO into Jira from your company's Single Sign-On. You can have a look at the link given below for reference.
https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?query=jira%20single%20sign%20on
You can use the SAML/OAuth plugin based on the supported protocol of your company's Single Sign-On. Here is one of the plugins that work on SAML 2.0 Protocol.
This plugin has support for custom SSO solutions along with the feature set that will enhance your user experience for the Jira.
Here is the step-by-step guide to configure SSO. Feel free to reach out to the support team through the customer portal in case if you need any assistance to set up the plugin for your use case.
PS: I work for the miniOrange, the vendor of the plugin I suggested above.
Thanks,
Aditya Kekre

SSO will allow you to access JIRA and Confluence using the same set of credentials. You can use any of the IAM applications (ADFS, AzureAD, Crowd, etc) to manage users and their groups for JIRA and Confluence.
Regarding the SSO support in JIRA and Confluence, you will find multiple apps in the Atlassian marketplace which allows you to enable SSO in the JIRA and Confluence using SAML or OAuth Protocols.
Thanks,
