Hi all!
This is a question I have since we do not have any addons installed but I find interesting both Scriptrunner and JSU
Can I have both installed in jira cloud and use them when convinience?
Thanks in advance
Ro
Hi @Rosana Casilli ,
As mentioned by others you can absolutely find JSU is available for Jira Cloud:
As you may know, JSU specialises in workflow customisation but is specifically designed around a simple, easy-to-use user interface tailored to those who desire no-code, use-case driven workflow automation.
Also, built-in automation doesn't include Workflow Conditions or Validators in Cloud which allow you to restrict when issues can be transitioned to a new status.
I hope this information helps.
Many thanks,
Ryan

Hi @Rosana Casilli,
I'm not sure which app you mean when you write "JSU" but I can tell you that ScriptRunner is available for Jira Cloud.
Here's the link in case you want to check ot out by yourself: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/6820/scriptrunner-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
When you open the app via the marketplace you can switch in the dropdown menu to change the hosting type. I attached a screenshot for reference.
Kind regards,
Svenja

thanks @Svenja Lorenzen ! JSU is an automation suite for workflows, like an extension of what we already have in jira....
I Know that you have a lot of functions in Scriptrunner, and some other to build.... But I saw that JSU is an enteresting addon.
My question is related to if I want to have both of them installed in my jira or should I have only one of them, since there may be some cases that are resolved in both plugin but others may not

Hi @Rosana Casilli,
got it and I just saw that JSU is also available for the cloud.
Well, I can't contrast the different apps for you becuase this requires detailed information of the uses cases that you want to represent with the apps.
But what I can recommend is to first try to handle everything with the basic Jira functionalities. Jira Cloud gives you power over a new automation engine that can be used for a lot of automations.

When, at some point, you need advanced functionality you can go into detail to see which app covers your feature request.
