Hello,
we're using Jira Cloud for a while now.
Is it possible to roll out, that referenced images within notification eMails are displayed in Microsoft Outlook?
My first idea was to add xyz.atlassian.net to the trusted Zone in the internet options, but that doesn't seem to be enough. Any hints?
Rgds
Dieter
Outlook blocks external images by default. In Outlook, go to File, Options, Trust Center, Trust Center Settings, Automatic Download, and uncheck "Don't download pictures automatically in HTML email messages". You can also add the sender domain to Safe Senders. The IE trusted zone setting doesn't govern Outlook's image rules.
If you'd rather send notifications with embedded image blocks that render without recipient-side trust changes, our app Notification Assistant for Jira supports image blocks in its template editor.
Feel free to reach out if you'd like to learn more.
Hi @Dieter Guthmann is JRACLOUD-74568 or JRACLOUD-92644 your issue? I found that on Atlassian's Jira Site. Feel free to vote for and watch them for updates.
