Is it possible to generate a daily report of issues created, resolved, closed that is auto-emailed?

My client is only interested in the numbers in a single table, not multiple issue dumps.  They are not interested in seeing the issues, only the numbers.

Plugin-based solutions are OK in this scenario.

A single report listing all issues created, resolved, closed each day can be emailed in a few steps.

  1. Create an issue filter that displays the details your client is interested in e.g "created >= -1d OR resolved >= -1d" where resolved refers to the status category, not the specific status "resolved".
  2. Modify the columns on the filter result page to only show the relevant columns and re-save the filter.
  3. Click on 'Details' next to the filter name then click on 'New subscription'
  4. Fill in the configuration options on the next screen. If the client is not setting up their own subscription you may need to create a specific Jira user group for the recipient/s.

If they want a summary table, then that is not part of vanilla Jira but there may be a Marketplace App that can help.

Hi Kat,

Thanks - I appreciate your reply.  Unfortunately, as I mentioned, a filter subscription will not work.  They don't want to see the issues, only the numbers, for various things, in a single table.

Yes, this is easily possible with our plugin AIO Reports and Timesheets for Jira.
