Is it possible to execute REST API in transition postfuction, to upload the attachment to confluence

Hello Everyone!

Is it possible to write a script to be run as transition post function, to upload the attachments present in the issue to confluence using confluence API? I was trying to write a script for hitting rest API as post functions.
