Is it possible to eliminate Epics that have been complete from the backlog view?

Currently in the backlog view for a Project one of the filters are Epics. However all Epics show up as filters, even ones that have been marked as Done. Is there a way to eliminate the Epics that are complete to have a more concise filter list?

yep. you need to set the "Epic Status" to DONE which is different than the Status in the workflow. Yes, I know this is confusing but it is what it is. 

To set the Epic Status to DONE go into the edit screen and look for "Epic Status" if you do not see then you need to add it to the edit screen. I think you may be able to do this from the Epic sidebar in the backlog as well. at least you used to be able to do so.
