Is it possible to delete automatically created comments batchwise?

Hello,

unfortunately, I pressed a wrong button in the "GANTT-Chart Plugin". That results in having thousands of comments with the same content added to each of my issues:

"Update issue for Gantt-Chart usage by setting a default effort of 1 days and initializing both planning dates."

That looks really ugly - is there a safe way to delete ALL of those comments (with this specific content) without harming the infrastructure? (Maybe a DELETE FROM ?? WHERE ?? = "Update issue for Gantt-Chart usage by setting a default effort of 1 days and initializing both planning dates.")

How to get access to the JIRA database? Or is there a simpler way to do that?

Any kind of help would be appreciated!

Hi Sabrina,

no, unfortunately there was no solution found by me. If the issue is _very_ big you can try to solve it directly in the database - but the pain was not big enough for me to go this risk.
