Is it possible to deactivate move issue permission when issue security is set?

Hi,

is there a possibility in JIRA cloud to limit users permission, so they are unable to move issues when a specific issue security is set?

there's no direct link that can be set on the user permissions combined with the issue security.

Do you maybe have more details on why you want that or what the use-case is further? Maybe we can figure out some alternative.

sure!
We want to make sure users in our Jira are either unable to move those issues to other projects, we are unsure wether this results in complications with our information safety.

If users are able to move those issues to different projects, need to document it properly so responsible persons are aware of that.

Do you know if there are addons that could enable this feature?

There's no app that could do this for Cloud, but I think I could do it with Scriptrunner on Server.

For the "document it properly" though, I think you can do something.  Jira records the move in the issue history, of course, and can send notifications on "move" events, but you could attach automations to "move" to do other things like messages or sending move data to other systems.  Depends on what reporting you want!
