Is it possible to create custom subtasks in a team managed project?

I know how to create issue types in a team managed project but is there a way to create custom subtask issue types? I'm trying to make custom subtasks available as child issues so they are always grouped by the main issue (story)

Example:

1. New story issue
   1. Subtask type 1
   2. Subtask type 2
   3. Subtask type 3

Not yet, team-managed projects only support a single sub-task type.
