Once a issue in Jira get a sub-task, it is possible to add a new sub-task by clicking the "+" in the "Header" of sub-tasks. This will expand the page a little, and the following is shown:

We should like to include story points here - maybe even remove original/remaining estimate. Is that possible? I cannot really find any information about this in Confluence.

Thank you for the reply.

Making SP's mandatory is not really an option for us. Subtasks will sometimes be created prior to estimation and not all subtasks require SP's (ex. we have a QA test sub-task on all stories in order to have QA estimate their time effort as well (but in hours)).
