Dear Jira community,
is it possible to invite members outside the project team to a selected epic, so they can access only this epic and no others in the project board.
Thanks for letting me know
Sabine
You're not the first person to have this kind of question, take a look at https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-questions/How-to-implement-issue-level-security-per-epic-to-restrict-users/qaq-p/2114877 to see comments from other people who have answered similar questions
Another option where you could avoid issue level security would be:
e.g. If you board filter is 'Project = MyProject' update it to 'Project IN (MyProject, NewProject)

Hi @Sabine Gruppe , thanks for your post.
It would be possible to do something like this with a work item security scheme - https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/configure-issue-security-schemes/
However, this is a configuration that isn't so simple to configure or maintain so I would also ask you if there is another way to achieve the same thing. Why is this Epic in a project / space these users cannot access if they need to access it?
Best wishes

Thank you Valerie.
There are quite a few different projects in our current team board. Not all of them should be accessible to the the guests that we want to share the epic mentioned above. That‘s why we are looking for the selected epic access.
Kind regards
Sabine
