Is it possible to add new issue description template?

Can a template e added automatically in Description and environment fields? For manually created bugs it would save up a lot of time. I want Jira to automatically add in bug description field lines like 'Steps', 'Preconditions', 'Expected result', 'Actual result'

In environment field I want Jira to add lines like 'Devices', Browser version', 'Accounts'etc.

If I understand you correctly, you want to place new text in the description field when a bug is created?

You should be able to do that with Automation For Jira. Here is some more information to get you started:

There are two types of automation:

• Global: In the Free version, you get 100 executions per product, per month
• Project: In all versions, you get unlimited executions per month

You can do this via global rules to apply to all projects also. You'll need to be a Jira Admin/Site Admin, go to Jira Settings > System > Automation Rules (left-hand menu).

I don't have an "Automation Rules" option.  I tried the post function, option, but that did not let me add in line breaks and over-writes the description entered on the Create screen.
