Is it possible for sub-tasks to have special statuses?

I would like sub-tasks to have statuses of Not Started, In Progress and Complete. Is this possible?

I know issue status flow with the statuses of the board but I would like to have special statues assigned specifically to sub-tasks.

You may create new separate workflow for subtask with custom statuses

and look for "workflow schemes"

A workflow-scheme says "for issue type Task, use workflow X, for issue type Subtask, use workflow Y

Thanks for the reply.

I created the workflow for the subtask with custom statuses and workflow scheme for subtask but I’m not certain where to apply it to my default workflow. Any documentation on this?
