×Is it possible for Slack users without Jira licenses to create tickets for Jira Software projects without Jira Licenses via Slack<>Jira integration which does have a Jira License? Before Halp (Now Assist) was restricted to only JSM, It was incredibly convenient for end users and stakeholders of our business systems to new feature requests (as Stories), Bugs , and Tasks (such as create a new user). Some organizations may not have budget and/or bandwidth to grant all users in a company with a Jira license just to use the Jira Slack app nor to buy and manage a JSM board separate from their Jira Software board. If the apps were connected via a Service Account with full permissions in our Jira Project, could that user create tickets (and even comments) on behalf of the users who don't have jira licenses? We are currently having to use an Slack Request form, >Copy all the details,> go into jira and create a ticket, > paste the details. > close the Request form ticket> add link to Jira ticket. Then all conversation and comments have to happen somewhere in Slack where we copy and past back into Jira. It's a pain, especially after using Halp/Assist for years.

No if a user doesn't have a Jira license no work iterm/issue can be created, a license is required.
yes you could have a single account that has been granted a license to grant this account access to create issues,
But I don't think Slack and Jira will integrate on this, this would require that users login to slack with this account to
thanks for confirming
