Is it possable to add a comment to an issue thru jira UI?

When I try I get a popup with the following message below:

Communications Breakdown

The Jira server could not be contacted. This may be a temporary glitch or the server may be down.

Close this dialog and press refresh in your browser

The html response is 400

Is your instance running?  Can you access other pages?

Yes I can navigate thru the application just fine.

Have you recently updated JIRA to a new version?

Not recently this is what we are running now.

Is everyone having the issue or just you?  If it is you please log out and clear your browser cache and see if that resolves the issue.  If it is everyone then you will need to check the logs and see what is happening.

A few of us that I know of. The logs didn't show anything but my browser console a shows a 400 response. Image attached.

Did you clear your browsers cache?

I cleared everything and restarted our Jira instance still no difference.
