We're trialling the Jira software as a board for tracking non-critical issues in our workspace as a pilot program. We have a two part question for our initial testing.
First, is it possible to have it set up so that comments made within Jira email out to the original caller? For example, if I have an email from John.Doe@mycompany.com who sends an email to qualityboard@mycompany.com, which is the email address the handler is set up to use, can I then have comments added in the program that will email back out to John.Doe@mycompany.com?
Secondly, is it possible to have Jira not auto-delete incoming emails its processed in case we need to be able to access those emails directly?
