Internal Server Error when trying to assign a sprint to a ticket in the backlog

Judy Baughman
April 16, 2020

I have tickets in a sprint I just started.  In the backlog, I have my sprint version listed in the VERSIONS section that resides on the left side of the backlog view.  I take individual tickets or a set of tickets and drag & drop them over to the Version I want to assign them to.  When I do this, I briefly see the ticket update to the version I want but then that tag disappears and I get "ERROR:  Internal Server Error" at the top middle of the screen.  Why is this happening?

Some tickets obtain the version number just fine, with no errors and some of the tickets give me the internal server error.  These tickets are in the same sprint.
