We have one specific user who seems to be having issues updating an issue on one of our next gen projects (JIRA cloud).
We've checked the user, and they have an identical setup to 8 other individuals (managed through permission groups) who are all working on the same board.
For some reason the user is unable to edit issues, and all the fields on the right hand side of the card vanish. A page refresh temporarily solves it, but its causing some issues!
Any advice?

As you state the problem is only affecting one single user which is additionall set up identically to another one - did you check the client side carefully if the browser of the user has some special configurations set like blockers for scripting languages or a too harsh configured firewall?
While there is some change that Jira Cloud is behaving not correctly the point with refreshing the page solves it makes me think this could be a problem with the specific user's browser.
If possible you also could test a different browser for a short moment.
