I would liek to install Jira on my on server with SQL Express (2012 or 2016). The documentation states, that SQL Express is not supported but I found some infos about using SQL Express. So my question is:
Is it possible to install on SQL Express but not recommended or not possible?

TIA
Gerhard

Definitely not recommended, and there are a number of reports of problems with it (that Atlassian won't do anything about because it's not supported).    Apps that make heavy use of the AO tables tend to turn out more errors.

It might work fine for you, especially if you don't have any apps installed, but there's no guarantee.

Thank you for your answer. I will install on non-Express then.
