Install and use JIRA after Maintenance period is over

Hi, our team would like to conitiue using JIRA Server on-premise for up to 1 year, but we are unable to extend our current maintenance contract, as the organisation will be moving to Data Center in 2022 (and eventually migrating all Server instances).

Is it allowed or even possible to install the latest version covered in our maintenance contract (i.e. maintenance ended 1st Jan 2021 then the latest version from 2020) and continue using it on an on prem instance?

Hey @marton.matyas ,

As far as I understand, you do have a claim on the latest version that was released during your active license/maintenance period.

Also, a Server license is a perpetual one so you are allowed to keep it running after your maintenance has expired. You will of course no longer have access to support on that SEN or Security updates above the version you are entitled to.
