Hi,

I would like to know how we have to do to install Agile in a JIRA Agile Instance.

Do we have to update to JIRA Software to do it? If the answer is yes, please tell us the best practice to do it.

Thank you.

You don't install Agile, it's not compatible, and it stopped at JIRA 6.

From 7 onwards, you need the Software application (which will use all the data from Agile because it's evolved out of the Agile add-on).

If you have not yet installed JIRA 7, then you can download a bundle for JIRA Software, which will take all your JIRA and Agile data from 6 and upgrade it.

If you are already running JIRA 7 Core, then go to "manage applications" and add "Software" in there.

We don't find the option "Manage Applications"-> Add "Software" .

Could you tell us where is that option in the Administration Menu?

Thank you.

Ah, the layout has changed a bit.  Admin -> Applications -> Versions and Licences

You'll see "free trial" under "other JIRA applications" if you haven't already got Software
