Insights and sprint burndown feature

Piotr S_ September 2, 2022

Hi,

at first I have to say that Insights feature is great. I have only one problem, Sprint burndown chart doesn't work in the insights module. Sprint progress and epic progress work as they should. I've configured my board to estimate based on story points. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this issue?

Hi, my problem has been resolved by one of developers working on Jira Insights in Atlassian. It turned out that tasks must be estimated before start date of sprint.

@Piotr S_

Sprint Burdown Charts need story points or estimate to showcase the insights.

Have you added the story points or estimate to the issues before starting the sprint.

Now story points are added to every issue in my project. I've finished sprint and started the new one but this doesn't fix my problem.

I also noticed that estimated subtasks do not count in Insights - only estimated User stories or other tickets
