Inline editing of labels in jira(data centre)

Hi Everyone,

Could we please have inline editing of labels in jira on the main page as we use this field very often and a different page opening for each edit is very cumbersome.

Can anyone please help me with this.

Regards,

Hi @Geethanjali S J

if you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you may like JXL for Jira. It's a full-fledged table/spreadsheet view on your issues that allows inline editing all your issue fields, just like you're used to it e.g. from Excel or Google Sheets. You can also update issues in bulk via copy/paste.

This is how it looks in action:

(It's worth noting that JXL can do much more than that - e.g. you can perform super-quick sorting and filtering, view issue hierarchies, and much more. More info at https://jxl.app. Disclaimer: I work on JXL :))

Hope this helps,

Hannes

HI @Geethanjali S J ,

Inline editing of each Jira issue is there. However, if you need to bulk edit multiple issues at once, you have the option to bulk edit and update the labels base on a JSL query.

Hi @Benjamin ,

Inline jira issue editing is there but it is opening in the new page but we need to edit in the same page and it is for single jira issue.

Regards,

Geethanjali.
