We have a BA on our team writing stories. The goal is to have the stories analysed before the sprint starts, ie: only analysed stories are put in the sprint plan and worked on during a sprint.
But we'd still like to show what stories the BA is working on on the Jira board, for the sake of workload visibility. An "In Analysis" column, for example. But as far as I can tell, any stories on a board will be part of the current sprint, while the "In Analysis" stories should really be excluded from the current sprint as they'll be developed next sprint.
Does the BACKLOG status for columns on a Scrum board mean backlog of the current sprint? Or could I use that status for an "In Analysis" column that shows work coming up next sprint?
