Dear All,
We are trying to workout the sequence/order up the cloud migration sequence - as a starting point. The Jira & Confluence instances are relatively big (~5000 users), but limited number of apps and not so complex integrations & customisations in the server instances.
Would be keen to get the thoughts from the community on what has worked for you all in the past, or are there any key learnings to be aware of in making some of these decisions.
For e.g. pros & cons for - should Jira be migrated first, followed by Confluence over the course of next few weeks or should both Jira & Confluence be migrated together with a longer downtime period to ensure an enhanced user experience and not having to toggle between server & cloud products
Thanks in advance
HI @Mit Tolia
Have you read @Mike Rathwell 's series of articles "A Solitary Admin with Cloudy Thinking"? You might not get ideas for everything, but the four articles are a good place to start to see what worked/key lessons for another admin.
To find the articles, just search Community for the title ^^
