In the JIRA Project Dashboard, Can we have roles and permissions that will restrict a user from viewing the Unresolved: By Assignee and Unresolved by Priority section?

Can we have roles and permissions that will restrict a user from viewing the Unresolved: By Assignee and Unresolved by Priority section?

In addition, the other sections should be viewable only for the tasks entered by a particular user himself and NOT the tasks allocated to other users.

Not without tinkering with code.

That dashboard is there to give users an overview of the project in general.  It would be mostly useless if it were restricted in thw way you describe.

If you genuinely want to work that way, then you should be restricting the issues the user can see with permissions and issue security.  (Then the dashboard will work in that way automatically because it won't present information about issues the user can't see)

Thanks for the update Nic. As per below link there was a request for a new role which will restrict the users, however the feature was closed with out implementation.

Yup, I'd read that ages ago, and remember it was closed as a bad idea.
