In-line edit result of Filter Results Gadget in a Dashboard

Hello!

I would like to inline edit this field in the Filter Results Gadget in a Dashboard. Is there a way to enable this? 

JExcel seems to be able to do this, but I would love to just have it on my dashboard with all my other relevant information.

Seth - None of the delivered Atlassian gadgets have this functionality.  I also do not know of any add-ons that have gadgets that provide this ability.  There was a request to Atlassian for similar functionality but it never went anywhere: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWSERVER-12431

Thanks for finding this Brant. This functionality would be SUPER helpful and would make dashboards even more helpful.  I'll ping the linked issue and see if they can prioritize this issue a bit higher. :)

Hello any update or progress in this query. Would be very useful feature, removing the dependency on excel.
