In case of jira support tickets, iam unable set the status to answered for resolution

Hi @vineeth gajjela ,

welcome to the Atlassian community!

It depends from workflow and resolution configuration. Please check that :

  • you have "close issue" project permission
  • your wf has a transition to done status and verify the related condition
  • resolution is a field of the trasition screen
  • "answered" is a resolution value
  • there are no workflow properties on the close transition that limit resolution values
