In Jira Structures I am unable to sort by Priority

When I create a sorting parameter in Structures and apply it, the sorting doesn't work perfectly on the priority icons. I wanted to sort to see the most critical on top to the least on bottom. (1-Critical, 2-High, and so on)

What it seems to be doing is, instead of sorting by numbers, it might be sorting by alphabetical order.

- Is there any way to fix this?
- is there any other way to write out priority in a text format instead of just using icons? Showing this to senior mgmt would be more descriptive? Can it be done through a formula by any chance?
