In JIRA workflow, how to assign post condition to assign issue to a group user.

In jira workflow post conditin, can we assign task to "last user of group" ?

Please suggest me if it is correct approach to create related project role and then refer the group and use project role post condition in workflow which could resolve the issue. but i am afraid it can make addition of project role which will not be used in other projects and though it will appear additional role in project role configuration.

It indeed adds an extra role but probably the easiest way to do it without development!
