In Component field I can add my own value like label field , how to restrict this

Hi Team,

Recently i have identified one issue with the Component field. In the component field  without adding the value i can add it from the issues editing. Like label.

Can any one helpme to resolve this issue

Thanks for the question.

The Component field does not behave like Labels. Users cannot freely create new components unless they have the proper project permission. If the user can create new component values directly from the issue edit screen, it means they have the Administer Project permission.

Check the appropriate documentation.
