Impossible to distinguish between a space and an underscore in a search query

Hello,

Similar to the problem descirbed in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-14641

there is a really big issue with the underscore in a search query because it is impossilbe in Jira to search by underscore.

Jira seems to treat the underscore character to be identical to a space character.

Could you please advise a workaround or solution to such problem?

Referring to the current status of the issue, it is still in the Verified state, which means the developers are still yet to review the bug as of now. However, since this issue is affecting a number of users and it is really causing a huge trouble to everyone, hopefully the developer will provide a workaround at least to counter this matter.

As of now, I do suggest you to comment on the bug report to share your thoughts and concerns about it. We hope that this issue will grab the attention of the developers soon so that they can come up with a permanent solution to it.
