Hi,

We have part of our team that track there own tasks/activities in a visual task board in Service Now. The other half of the team use a Kanban board in Jira. I want to get everyone on Jira so we are using one tool.

Is there a way to import/migrate the open and historical activity cards in the service now board into user stories on a Jira Kanban board?

Hi @Matt Clarke

I hope you are doing well.

I am Christophe a solution Engineer @Exalate.

With Exalate you can easily create a connection between your ServiceNow and Jira instances.

You can use Exalate to do a migration or to keep a bidirectional sync between your issues.

The solution boasts a unique decentralized approach to integrating your work systems together while providing full autonomy to each side of the connection.

To make your life easier you can create a trigger and this will automatically sync for you, so no more manual work.

Exalate is easy and straightforward to set up and you can control exactly which data you want to send and/or receive.

@Matt Clarke hi. I see some pretty good solutions offered already. You can check the marketplace if you're ok with a paid migration, or go for Craig's approach. If you decide to look into the 1st option, i'd like to propose another tool - ZigiOps. It will connect the two systems bi-directionally and sync them. You get to choose what data you want to transfer/migrate between the two. ZigiOps is fully customizable.

Hi @Matt Clarke

You can migrate your ServiceNow data to jira using marketplace paid apps like https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1222255/servicenow-to-jira-service-management?tab=overview&hosting=cloud.

Please note, this is not promotion to the app, I just came across it over marketplace.

Hi @Matt Clarke welcome to the community.  It will take some work effort but this can be achieved.  SNOW has a Jira app that allows you to integrate the two systems.  Another way you can achieve this is via scripts groovy on the jira side java script on the SNOW side and a mid-server between.
