Hello, I am attempting to import issues as a .csv however the import tool is being incredibly slow and in some cases freezing at each attempt. Selecting "Stop import" does not actually do anything either.

The import file is only 21kb, so it should not be taking 30 mins to import.

Previously, I accidentally tried to import a large file (2000kb due to an Excel error) however I selected "Stop import" and closed the window. I am not sure if Jira has an import backlogue even if you close the window? Could this be affecting my import speed?

Hi @Bilbo Boffin ,

(Assuming you used the External System Import) Few things you can check to see if the previously stopped import actually imported tickets:

* Navigate to the Project that was selected while importing the CSV

* See if any issues were created recently or created with your user name (your name should be logged as the creator for the imported tickets)

About the 21Kb import file, how much data does that file have? By any chance are you downloading attachments in the import?
