Import 3.13 data in a 5.2 Jira version

Louis Halfen

Hi,

We already own a JIRA 3.13 Enterprise version and we plan to migrate to a new server to a 5.2 version.

The server is a Windows 2008 server with a MsSQL.

Is it possible to install a 5.2 release and import easily the data from the 3.13 without do the 4.xx migration ?

It is not possible. A lot has changes between JIRA 3 and JIRA 5, which will require for you to migrate to JIRA 4.4.x as per recommended in here.
