Implementing Validity Dates to User Accounts, Group/Users/Project Access

AS

Would be extremely beneficial to implement the ability to create validity dates for users at the system, project, and/or access level. Not in JQL either, actually in the Administration User/Group functions. This was a standard functionality in the SAP Administration.

USER 1 System Access (DATE1) through (DATE 2)

USER 1 Group Access (DATE 1) through (DATE 2)

USER 1 Project Access (DATE 1) through (DATE 2)

USER 1 Admin Access (DATE 1) through (DATE 2)

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Thanks! -AS

Hi @AS - Are you saying make them automatically active on the Date 1 and then automatically deactivate them on Date 2?

Hello @John Funk

I would like to give USER 1 Access in a set date range.

In a previously life, I did SAP Sec. We were able to set validity dates for a specific user or a specific type of access.

I think that's a great suggestion. You will need to pass that feedback along to Atlassian as that current functionality is not possible. You can click the Send feedback link on the bottom left while in an issue in Jira, or you can submit here:
