Impact to existing Jira projects if user id changes to Azure-AD

We are planning to migrate Jira/Confluence - from server to cloud, but we are not sure how users can migrate . We have to use B2B user ids(Azure-AD) to connect with the cloud for authentication. If we create new users, then what would be the impact on our existing tickets and documents ?
