Impact of agent discovery on client performance

Does Jira's Discovery agent affect the client's performance during scanning?
What is the amount of RAM or CPU Utilization?

Anything a computer does chews up resources.  But you should not be worrying about your client services.

The agent on the server can end up doing a lot of work, but the client demands are low (hey, who are you?  What doin'?  I'll ask again in a few hours.  The client only needs to serve up a handful of data packets)
