i need to have same configs as the existing template
Hi @jeet.sengar ,
Have you selected the correct temp project when creating a new project? Only company managed projects have a ability to shared configuration.
If so, can you show us the screenshot of both new and temp project setting -> issuetype, where we can check if they have different scheme used.
Thanks!
Hi dexter yes i was creating the project in a similar way that you are showing but unable to clone the configs from the template but project is getting created previously we were able to do that

You mean there is no shared setting with the existing project option? Can you give us some screenshot when you trying to create project? What are the option available?.

Only company-managed projects may share scheme configuration. Here are the differences between company-managed projects and company-managed projects : https://support.atlassian.com/jira-work-management/docs/what-are-team-managed-and-company-managed-projects/
Also It only share scheme configuration of project like issuetype, workflow, screen, field and permission by using the scheme of the project shared.
Hope it helps!

Welcome to the community, @jeet.sengar,
I am Marlene, product manger of Deep Clone for Jira.
If you want to copy projects and create also independent copies of their schemes, you could try the Project Clone feature of our app.
You have the option to copy e.g. issue type schemes and edit them in the cloned project, without affecting the original project.
