If we do Jira Version upgrade, will Java Upgrade automatically?

Hi Team, we are planning to upgrade Jira Version, will Java Upgrade automatically? Or we need to Upgrade Manually?

For the best practice you have to upgrade the Java Manually. As per my understanding, Java will not upgrade automatically.
