If a person is flagged as a watcher, will they be notified when the user story comments are updated

I'm not the reporter or assignee. However i am a watcher. Will I get notified whenever the user story is updated. i.e. comments or status?

Typically yes however this completely depends on how the admin has set up the notification scheme. In other words have they added “watcher” to the specific events that you’re interested in such as issue updated. Two ways to find out ask the admin or simply test it.

For Team Managed projects, each project has its own notification scheme defined by the Project Administrator.
