If I reassign a parent task, can the subtasks subsequently get assigned to the same person?

If I reassign a parent task to a new person, is there a way for the subtasks to subsequently become assigned to that same new person as well, without having to manually go in to each subtask and reassign?

Yes, but you need a bit of coding to do it - a listener to pick up the "issue reassigned" and "edit" events, read the subtasks and re-assign them all automatically.
