If I got to linking work items and use Blocks, will it block the work item from being completed?

If I got to linking work items and use Blocks, will it block the work item from being completed?

I want to create a feature (work item) in my space and go to the link worked items and add link to a different feature that states Blocks. By using Blocks will that stop feature in the Linked section from being closed/competed?

Hi @Denise Schroeder

No, as the link types are indicators and relationships only (although I believe they can impact the display of items for things like advanced roadmaps).

To prevent the work item transition, a Validator may be added to the status Workflows for the types you want to impact. For this specific type of validation, I believe a marketplace app / addon will be required.
