JIRA uses metadata or an ID to query a sprint. If you type part of the sprint name the smart text appears but rarely does it capture the sprint your looking for amongst all the other projects sprints. Right now, if I"m lucky and catch a sprint that was close to mine, I increment or decrease the ID number until it sees my particular sprint.
"There must be an easier way"!?!?!?
Thanks all!

So do you mean you have the sprint name and you want the ID?
if you go to the Sprint Review report and select the sprint you are interested in the drop down then the ID will be at the end of the url.
ts always interesting the way we find things and how we make them work in JIRA! Thank you!
