I wish to have the JIRA dates listed in my project timeline (not on the board) to reflect in confluence page. 

Please note before answering, 

1. The dates are from my project page timeline, not the board timelines.

2. only the dates to be reflected in the confluence page and not the entire timeline ( I know how to show the complete timeline in confluence)

3. Actually, I had created a table with my projects in the confluence (which is customized to the top management, so the complete timeline that is available in Jira is not required for them), in which I wish to have the start date, end date, and due dates to be reflected (reference) from Jira to confluence, so that when the dates are modified in Jira, I do not have to change that in confluence.

Where are you storing these Jira dates and what are they representing?

Hi Nic, thanks for the swift response.

Actually, we use JIRA cloud, and the dates are mentioned in the project timeline (not the one we see in the board). so they are stored in the cloud.

Dates like start, end and due dates need to be mapped to the confluence page where I share the separate customized high-level report to the top management as they do not want to see all the epic / user story / task etc.

Currently I am doing copy paste from jira to confluence, so, intension of this question is to reduce manhours and human errors while copy paste the dates from Jira to confluence.

Ok, as far as I know, there's nothing in Confluence that will read the project timeline data directly.  You would need to find or write an app to do that (I am not aware of any, but I think you could do it with Scriptrunner)

The best you can do with native Confluence is replicate the timeline on a page, using the Jira Timeline macro.

While I still am not entirely sure what timeline you are referring to in Jira, your dates should be stored on the Jira issues themselves.

Have you tried using a Jira macro in Confluence where you pull in the issues you have on your timeline, display the the macro as an issue list and select the desired fields to be displayed in the issue table?

If your issues are displayed on your timeline based on sprints, the dates are not filled out on the issues themselves. You can work around that by setting up an automation rule that copies your sprint start and end dates to the appropriate issue fields when you add an issue to a sprint.
