I want to run a customer report which lists epics but I want to combine two status

Currently i have a work flow which is test orientated which three of the status are test prep, awaiting release and then in test.

The customer once an EPIC has started just want to be reported as WIP and then test.

So on a report I ideally want to combine the status of test prep and awaiting release to a single label such as WIP.
