I want to limit the attachment size per issue

While in Jira, we can configure the maximum size of the file.. however, we need to limit the total size of the attachment at issue level.. is this possible?

Not out of the box.

There may be a plugin that does it. Before you search decide if you mean the size of a single attachment, or the total size of all attachments for the issue.
