I want to explore various reports available in JIRA. For this I need the sample data.

Need sample database for JIRA to explore various reports and to build additional reports, charts for the entire Portfolio. Please point me to the existing data, URL or any.

The Jira instances do not come with any dummy data which can be used for exploring and evaluating the reports. This is due to the fact that Jira is highly customizable and can be adapted to the user's needs.

With that being said, the details of some of the default reports can be referenced here.

Thanks for your kind reply. Got some data from another team as CSV file. But I am not able to import to my JIRA Cloud instance. They are using JIRA on-premise setup. How to resolve this? Could you please shed some light on the steps, where I am missing.

The below error getting while trying to import as JSON file after converting:

org.codehaus.jackson.JsonParseException: Unexpected character ('' (code 65279 / 0xfeff)): expected a valid value

Hello @Kamaraj P 

The simple CSV import would not bring in all the issue related data. In case you need to bring in data from one of your on-promise (server) setup to the cloud instance, I would suggest you use the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA).

This will enable you to move even just a single project will all related data, which can then be used for your internal analysis.

Also, JCMA is very intuitive and simple to use. Let me know if you need any support/ guidance on that.
