Hi @Md AKIB ,
If you're trying to delete your Atlassian account and it's not allowing you to, you're not alone — there are a few common reasons this happens.
Here’s how it works in Atlassian Cloud:
1. You Can’t Delete the Account If It’s Managed by an Organization
If your account is part of an organization-managed account (via Atlassian Access), you won’t see the delete option yourself.
In that case:
The account is controlled by your company’s admin.
You’ll need to contact your organization admin and ask them to delete/deactivate your managed account from the Admin Console.
2. You’re the Only Site or Org Admin
If you are:
The only Site Admin
Or the only Organization Admin
Atlassian prevents deletion to avoid leaving the site without an administrator.
Solution:
First assign another user as admin.
Then remove yourself from the admin role.
After that, you should be able to deactivate/delete your account.
3. Active Subscriptions or Billing Responsibilities
If your account is tied to:
Billing contact
Active subscriptions
Marketplace app ownership
You may need to:
Transfer billing ownership
Cancel subscriptions
Transfer app/vendor ownership
4. How to Delete a Personal Atlassian Account
If it’s a personal (unmanaged) account:
Go to: https://id.atlassian.com
Log in
Go to Profile → Account settings → Delete account
If the option is missing, it’s very likely managed by an organization.
5. Still Blocked?
If none of the above apply, you can raise a request directly with Atlassian Support:
Go to: https://support.atlassian.com/contact
Select Account & Login Issues
I hope this may help you out.
